Species in Pieces

For this weekly blog post, I want to share a unique website about species that are in "fragmented survival".

The CSS-based website illustrated these species in 30 triangular pieces, creating a low-poly design. As you scroll through the page, the pieces are animated to form a new species, and information about it pops up. A video is also included to explain why the bird is in fragmented survival.

With the high design quality, and attention to small detail this website was awarded "Cite of the Day" on for March 30th, 2015 on : www.awwwards.com.
